  • Events Assistants   - download job description
We hold a range of special events and sometimes attend other events to raise our profile; these events require the help of volunteers. You might be helping to put up tents, set up stands and activities, welcome visitors, hand out leaflets, assist with activities, or lead guided walks. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with fun and educational events that help us to raise our profile and to build up our membership.
  • Local Press Monitors - download job description
You could be the missing link that helps us to monitor local press in every part of Yorkshire. Our Local Press Monitors help by scanning their own free local newspapers and any other local papers they may already read, creating a network that covers all parts of Yorkshire. They look for news items about the Trust, or about local wildlife or conservation issues with which we may get involved, and report back to the York office regularly.
  • Door to Door Recruitment
The Trust is currently employing Door to Door Recruiters as part of its re-launched membership recruitment scheme, working across Yorkshire in the vicinity of your own home. A generous commission is paid on all pledges received and recruiters can work whatever hours suits them.
