Clifton Backies - Local Nature Reserve

 

Clifton Backies was designated as a Local Nature Reserve in 2002, as it is a very special place for wildlife. There are lots of places to explore including woodlands, grassy areas, a pond, and lots of open space - come along and see what you'll discover!

Activities for 8-13 year olds

Thursday 30th October 10.30am - 12.00pm

Halloween Party
Come along for a Halloween party in the woods. We will be making lanterns, hunting for bat facts and apple bobbing. There will be prizes for everyone that comes in fancy dress.

Saturday 29th November 10.30am - 12.00pm

Feed the Birds

Join us to make bird feeders for our feathered friends, which will help them survive the cold winter months. We will also see what birds we can spot on Clifton Backies.
Saturday 20th December 10.30am - 12.00pm Festive Fun
"It's Christmas time..." which means it's time to wrap up warm and come along to make a willow wreath to hang on your front door or willow stars to hang on your tree. There'll be Christmassy run-around games to play as well to make sure we keep warm!!
